Hundreds of pictures, showing life in the streets, people, faces, buildings, billboards, sings, trains. When you surf around on this blog, you will get a very special, unique and thrilling perspective on a mysterious country: China. - Just have a look...

Asanas to support neck, back and shoulders

Posted on Mar 8th, 2007 by gabrieledifuria : just walkin' gabrieledifuria
I have just written a little post in one of the zaadz yoga pods. The suggestions including an asana routine might be pretty interesting for people suffering from an aching neck, from pain in the upper back areas or in the shoulders.

Food for Life

Beauty and clarity: that's what comes immediately to my mind, when I think about Krishnamurti's language. An inexhaustible reservoir of his fascinating texts and talks can be accessed any time for free via the online platform http://tchl.freeweb.hu/ .

Krishnamurti
You won't find any explanations or comments on this puristic site. It's coming around pretty oldschool as far as the layout is concerned and there's not even any contact or author specified. Just the (more or less) complete texts of Krishnamurti in a chronological order - that's all. And what a big pool of knowledge that is! You just want to go ahead and take a plunge and have many, many long swims in there.

My favorite way of enjoying this ever-refreshing treat: Choose one of the three volumes of  "Commentaries on Living" and just pick one of those short chapters every day.  Dive into these beautiful descriptions of nature and people in the opening part of each text and then let yourself be hit directly on your stubborn head by Krishnamurti's loving zen-stick.

Light on Patanjali's Yoga Sutras

Posted on Feb 1st, 2007 by gabrieledifuria : just walkin' gabrieledifuria
If you are looking for deep and thorough insights into Patanjali's Yoga Sutras just spend some time on http://www.swamij.com/yoga-sutras.htm.  I think there is no better place to go, if you want to understand the text and its meaning as well as the overall structure of yoga philosophy and practice.

The complex scheme of interlinking an endless multitude of pages and subpages on this website might be puzzeling at first if you tried to understand the underlying principle. But if you just surf along from link to link, deeper and deeper into the website, you realize that you start moving deeper and deeper into the ideas of this fascinating text, understanding, questioning and finding your very personal answers. Just try it  - you will love it. And come back again and again.
